Originally from Fort Collins, I have been blessed by “the curse of the Fort,” and I have vowed to never leave it. I love fitness and sports. I was born with way too much energy, and I’m always running around. My background is in health and exercise science, and I have certifications in both Pilates and Orthopedic and Sports Massage Therapy. I am also a Nationally Registered Paramedic.
In my Pilates work, I use the Integrated Movement Exercise techniques, a relatively new approach that has proven effective in fitness clubs, gyms, and medical establishments throughout the nation. As an Orthopedic and Sports Massage Therapist, my focus is primarily on deep-tissue work, whereby I use a variety of techniques to capture a unique balance for each individual client. My overall focus is to provide a client with an integrated approach to fitness that improves both physical and mental health, and I do this by exceeding my clients’ expectations and giving them the attention, respect, and compassion that they deserve. It is no co-incidence, therefore, that many of my clients are referrals from medical providers.
Special areas of interests include working with athletes of every age to improve performance, manage pain, and reduce injuries; and working with kids to develop their endurance and stability in muscles and joints in order to prevent future injuries, muscular imbalances, and obesity.
